Jakarta — In a landmark move to enhance the spiritual journey of its citizens, the government has announced the development of the "Kampung Haji" (Hajj Village) mega-project. This integrated facility is designed to serve as a one-stop hub for prospective pilgrims, consolidating visa processing, medical check-ups, and comprehensive Manasik (Hajj rituals) training within a single, localized environment.

Previously, administrative preparations were scattered across various regional offices, often causing logistical fatigue, particularly for the elderly. By centralizing these services, the Kampung Haji initiative guarantees a highly structured, efficient, and comfortable preparation phase. State-owned and private transport partners are already designing dedicated shuttle routes to seamlessly connect the village to major international embarkation points, ensuring zero delays during departure.
